옛날 서적에는 “조국을 위해 죽는 건 좋고 적절한 일”이라고 쓰여져있다. 그러나 현대 전쟁에서 죽는 것은 좋지도 않고 적절하지도 않다. 정당한 이유도 없이 비참하게 죽을 뿐이다.
